He was a leader during the French Revolution. Napoleon was first Consul ( )

Then he was crowned emperor ( )

Napoleon created the bank de France, he wrote the Civil Code and he created the Lycées.

Napoleon made a lot of war and he is the winner. This is the battle of Austerlitz.

But in 1814 the English invaded France and exiled Napoleon on the island of Elbe.

King Louis XVIII was on the throne. Napoleon returned to France.

Napoleon was defeat at the Battle of Waterloo in June 1815.

Napoleon was exiled on the island of Saint Helena. Napoleon spend the last six years in Saint Helena.

Napoleon died on May in Saint Helena.

In 1840 his ashes were brought back to France.
