2 Corinthians 5:6-10 “while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord, 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight, 8 we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.” Luke 23:42-43 The thief said, “Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” 43 And Jesus said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Hebrews 9:27 “it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment”
Foundationsof The Faith
1 Thessalonians 4:18 “ Therefore comfort one another with these words.” Our dead loved ones who knew Jesus are in Heaven with Jesus and will come with Him when He comes to the clouds. Our dead loved ones who knew Jesus are in front of us in line to get resurrection bodies. If we die tomorrow, we join them in Heaven. If we are alive at the phase 1 coming of Jesus, we will be instantly transformed into our cool resurrection bodies. Either way, we will be with the Lord always in all that He does once He comes for the rapture.
Some generation of Christians will not die, but rather see Jesus ascend from Heaven and take them! The Thessalonians thought it was them. Do you think it is us? Are you ready? If Jesus is only coming back in the second coming of Rev. 14, we have the terrible events of Rev 6-13 first. His coming is not imminent. But if Jesus is coming back any time, we better be living right and ready for Him.
Every wicked person and act in human history will have a day of judgment. Every wicked person and act in human history will have a day of judgment. There is really a day when Jesus will reign in righteousness. There is really a day when Jesus will reign in righteousness. Sin will be finally removed- in us and around us. Sin will be finally removed- in us and around us.
Four Judgments at the Time of Christ’s Two Phase Coming A) A) Judgment of Rewards B) B) Judgment of the Tribulation Martyrs C) C) Judgment of the Tribulation Survivors D) D) Great White Throne Judgment John 3:16–18 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” Romans 3:9–22 “both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; 10 as it is written, “T HERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. 21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe” The only way to be declared “not guilty” in the courtroom of God is to have faith in Jesus.
A A) A) Judgment of Rewards: Judgment of believers raptured or resurrected after the phase 1 coming of Christ
A 1 Corinthians 3:12–15 “Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. 14 If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” God evaluates the things that believers have done in their lives. - They receive rewards for things with eternal value. - They suffer loss for things not of eternal value. All participants are saved and receive eternal life.

A A) A) Judgment of Rewards: Judgment of believers raptured or resurrected at the phase 1 coming of Christ 2 Corinthians 5:8–11 “to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men”

All participants are saved and receive eternal life.
Revelation 20:4–5 “Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” B A) A) Judgment of Rewards: Judgment of believers raptured or resurrected after the phase 1 coming of Christ B) B) Judgment of the Tribulation Martyrs: Evaluation of the people who died for Jesus during the tribulation which takes place as the end of the tribulation. A God evaluates the sacrifice of the tribulation martyrs and gives them resurrection bodies and the privilege of reigning with Him in the 1,000 year kingdom.

Reward: privilege of entering into the 1,000 year kingdom and eternal life. All judged here are found guilty because “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

The Sad Reality of Hell The place of punishment is described throughout Scripture as: - “everlasting fire” (Matt. 25:41) - “unquenchable fire” (Matt. 3:12) - “shame and everlasting contempt” (Dan. 12:2) - “their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44–49) - “everlasting destruction” (2 Thess. 1:9) - “fire and brimstone” where “the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever” (Rev. 14:10-11) - “lake of fire and brimstone” where they are “tormented day and night forever and ever” (Rev. 20:10) everlasting punishment … eternal life. The same Gr. word is used in both instances. The punishment of the wicked is as never-ending as the bliss of the righteous. The wicked are not given a second chance, nor are they annihilated.
