 What is Heaven?  Pop culture image of Heaven is inaccurate & boring  Home and throne of God (Acts 7:48-50)  Jesus ascended there (Matt. 16:19; Heb. 8:1)  Characteristics of Heaven  Place of rest (Rev. 14:13)  Place of peace (Rev. 21:1-5)  Place of life (Luke 20:36-39)  Place of freedom to serve (Rev. 7:13-17)
