PROFESSIONALISM Each profession has ethics Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA) Code of Ethics  Preamble: Engineers, scientists, educators, technicians, sales reps, and executives, in order to safeguard public welfare and establish and maintain integrity, hold to the following Articles  Article I : Hold paramount the safety, health and welfare of the public. Hold in confidence information obtained in a professional capacity

PROFESSIONALISM  Article II: Perform services only in areas where qualified by education or experience  Article III: Issue public statements in an objective and truthful manner and include all pertinent and relevant information.  Article IV: Act as faithful agents or trustees for each employer or client. No appearance of impropriety.  Article V: Proper solicitation of employments. Represent abilities, qualification, education, etc. truthfully.  Article VI: Live and work according to the laws of man and to the highest standards of professional conduct.
