NARCISSUS And the love story

There lived a young boy named Narcissus. A young lady named Echo lived close to Narcissus.

Over the years Echo fell madly in love with Narcissus but, Narcissus did not know. He picked on her a lot and she ran away crying every time.

Aphrodite the goddess of love saw how mean he was being. She changed it…

Every time Narcissus looked at his reflection in the pond he fell madly in love with himself. Ooh. I’m so hot!

So when Narcissus was on his daily walk he went past the pond and saw his reflection and fell in love. He stood there and stared. Oh la la!!!

Narcissus could not stop looking so he got closer and closer and DOWN he went. Straight into the pond.

Narcissus could not swim so he drowned and died. A flower was laid at the pond where he drowned. Echo put it there, although she loved him she hated him as well.
