We sleep at night and rise early in the morning hearing the sweet song of different birds. Kinds of birds: There are many kinds of birds in Bangladesh.They are different in colour,habit and size.On their habit, activities they are classified as tailor birds,singing birds ,birds of prey,talking birds and nocturnal birds.

crow kite Teasing birds: The crow is a teasing bird.It lives on dirty things.The kite is also teasing bird.

doel Babui Tailor birds: The swallow, the babui and the tuntuni are the tailor birds.They build their nest with great skill.So they are called tailor birds.The doel also is our national bird.

shalik nightingale Doel mayna Singing birds: The cuckoo,the shyama,the doel,the nightingale etc are the are known as singing birds.The cuckoo is most popular among them.

Vulture Kite Birds of prey: The vulture,the hawk,the kite etc are the birds prey.They have keen eyes and sharp nails.They live on fish and flesh.

parrot shalik mayna Talking birds: The parrot,the mayna and the shalik are the talking birds .They can talk like a man if they are trained properly.

duck hen pigeon Domestic birds:The very common domestic birds are hen,the duck ,the pigeon etc. We get flesh and egg from them.

owl bat Nocturnal birds:Some birds are nocturnal.The owl and the bat are such type of birds.They only come out at night.SO people can hardly Seen them. Importance of birds:Birds are our natural wealth.They may be Friend to the friendless.They also eat harmful insects which destroy Our crops.Some birds eat up dirty things clean nature.They amuse Us with their sweet song.
