D OME AND H EATING The glass dome is going to go over the top of the courtyard and allow it to be usable in the winter, and maintain warmth without very much assistance. The dome is going to have glass with heating wire through it, capable of keeping the snow off the dome. The heat will be powered from the solar panels. Dome Nature to grow Multi- purpose Obtained heat Heated glass

S OLAR P ANELS There are going to be solar panels in the four corners, powering the filter and the heat within the dome. This is going to make the space self sufficient, and will not use any of the energy within the school. Solar Panels Power Heat in Dome Power Filter Help Gutters Power Rope Lights

G ARDENS AND G UTTERS The gardens are going to be used to help keep the space green, and comfortable, maybe used for the kitchen if feasible. Gutters are going to have holes in them to control the amount of rain falling on the gardens. Also collect the extra water and connect it to the plumbing and help some of the water usage. P ICNIC T ABLES AND B ENCHES In the center of the courtyard, between the trees are going to be seating places. Two are going to be normal picnic tables, and the other two are going to be the swinging wooden benches. Raw WoodWoodworkingCommunity

P OND, FISH, TREES, FILTER There is going to be a pond with fish in it. The pond is going to be in a circle around one of the trees. There will be a bridge to access the tree and benches. There is going to be a filter to be used on the water coming of the dome. This way the water is going to be recycled back into the dome and used for the pond and or gardens. T REES AND B ENCHES Around the two trees, are going to circular wooden benches. The benches here are going to also be made by the woodworking classes, or as an independent project for someone in the community. Raw WoodWoodworkingCommunity

D ECK The deck will be constructed from yet again a woodworking class. The deck won’t be too big, but enough to maintain a few addition seating over looking the courtyard. The seats will be Adirondack Chairs and Mushroom Chairs. Different level ViewSeating

M URALS The murals are going to be painted on the brick. This is going to make the space appeal to the kids in class. The murals are going to be nature oriented to add to the feel of the Biodome. Happiness Classroom Environment Art students helping out Nature Murals
