Blog  Definition: “A web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer” -Merriam-Webster

Blogs Supporting Education?  Increased exposure to content covered in class  Review material uploaded by teacher Activities Handouts  Students post comments on class chat  Teachers can post pictures and student recognition information

Support of English Language Learners and Disabled Students  Podcasts and Videocasts  Of class lectures for students to have audio and/or visual depending on needs  Transcripts of lectures - Translated to languages spoken by students - In format that can be read by disabled students’ computer software  Ability of student to access class lectures will allow them to review and not feel put on the spot
