Character is a set of behavior traits that define what type of person you are. –It determines whether you will achieve your goals, be direct in dealing with others and obey the rules of the group. Character and personality are related, but they are not the same thing. You are born with personality and character is learned. Character may change with the situation or circumstances or may be changed on purpose. Honest Abe

Main Components of Good Character The ability to understand the difference between right and wrong Commitment to doing what is right Demonstrate responsible behavior Obey rules Complete tasks willingly Accept consequences (own your actions) Acceptance of a set of values Values- beliefs, feelings and ideas that are important to you.
