ISLAM IS BASED ON 5 PILLARS:  THE SHAHADA – LA ILAHA ILLALAH, MUHAMMAD-UR-RASUL ALLAH  SALAH – pray at specified times 5 times a day  ZAKAT – paying charity to the poor  SAWM – fast in the month of Ramadan  HAJJ – trip/pilgrimage to Makkah (Saudi Arabia) at least once in a lifetime#3
