Trust and Obey WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD, IN THE LIGHT OF HIS WORD WHAT A GLORY HE SHEDS ON OUR WAY. WHILE WE DO HIS GOOD WILL, HE ABIDES WITH US STILL AND WITH ALL WHO WILL TRUST AND OBEY. TRUST AND OBEY, FOR THERE’S NO OTHER WAY TO BE HAPPY IN JESUS, BUT TO TRUST AND OBEY

FOR WE NEVER CAN PROVE THE DELIGHTS OF HIS LOVE UNTIL ALL ON THE ALTAR WE LAY. FOR THE FAVOR HE SHOWS AND THE JOY HE BESTOWS ARE FOR THOSE WHO WILL TRUST AND OBEY…SO WE’LL TRUST AND OBEY, FOR THERE’S NO OTHER WAY TO BE HAPPY IN JESUS, BUT TO TRUST AND OBEY.

THEN IN FELLOWSHIP SWEET WE WILL SIT AT HIS FEET, OR WE’LL WALK BY HIS SIDE ON THE WAY. WHAT HE SAYS WE WILL DO, WHERE HE SENDS WE WILL GO, NEVER FEAR ONLY TRUST AND OBEY… SO WE’LL TRUST AND OBEY, FOR THERE’S NO OTHER WAY TO BE HAPPY IN JESUS, BUT TO TRUST AND OBEY.

First Division 1.Remember God’s promises (1:1-16)

Acts 2:38-39 “ And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

Second Division 2. Remember God’s presence (1:5,9)

Third Division 3. Remember God’s protection (2:1-24)

 Know it! “Meditate on it day and night.”  Obey it! “Do not turn to the right or left.”  Share it! “Do not let it depart from your mouth.”
