In this session, we invite you to discuss the following question: What institutional structures will be needed to establish an MRA in tourism in your country? What process will be necessary to establish these structures? You should align your structures with the ASEAN MRA framework policy Your objective is: To determine the feasibility of establishing the necessary institutional structures for a tourism MRA in your country. You should align your structures with the ASEAN MRA framework policy Your objective is: To determine the feasibility of establishing the necessary institutional structures for a tourism MRA in your country.

How to Respond Ensure you have a clear understanding of the aims of MRAs. Examine the feasibility of establishing the key bodies required for an MRA in your country. Specifically: 1.Conformance Assessment Body 2.Regulatory Authority 3.Designating Body 4.Membership of Joint Sectoral Committee If you have time, please also review how your country will ensure that these bodies have the authority and technical competency to carry out their requirements under an MRA. Ensure you have a clear understanding of the aims of MRAs. Examine the feasibility of establishing the key bodies required for an MRA in your country.
