Any ionic compound with more than 2 elements can be assumed to contain one or more polyatomic ions.

You can tell how many elements a compound has by counting the number of capital letters in the formula.

Once we know that a compound contains one or more polyatomic ions, we just locate that ion, or those ions, on the ion table.

The name of a polyatomic ion is NOT CHANGED when it is added to the name of a compound.
