OXYGEN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM HEART & HEART RATE LUNGS BLOOD CARBON DIOXIDE & LACTIC ACID

OXYGEN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM When you breathe in, oxygen enters your lungs and is absorbed into your blood. The oxygenated blood is pumped around the body by the heart.

OXYGEN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM The muscles in your body use the oxygenated blood as ‘food’. The deoxygenated blood travels back to the lungs to receive more oxygen, then the cycle starts again.
