Concept Here at [d]ream architecture, we believe it is important to have encounters with peace and serenity in daily life. We are proposing to create a tranquil, calm atmosphere in which one can relax and take a break from the daily mundane work. This atmosphere will provide a place of rejuvenation for workers, and will help stimulate a more positive attitude to working in an office. Our environment will provide: A place to relax from the daily stresses of work An attractor point to the business community An increase in foot traffic to the surrounding retail stores An atmosphere unlike anything in the tunnels today
Concept The patterns created in the traffic flow will encourage people to twist and wind their way through the area. This is not a space designed to be rushed through, but rather a space for leisure, a place where one can truly appreciate the quiet moments in the day.
Schedule We estimate this project to last 11 months, beginning in March of 2015 and being completed in February of 2016.
Coordination At [d]ream architecture, we believe the coordination between construction drawings and specifications is critical to ensuring a sound set of construction documents. We as architects, enhance the production techniques. We generate a standardized, numerical drawing key that includes all the components of a given project.
Fees
The budget for this project was $1,000,000 we are estimating that the full project will cost $755,000 and our architectural fees are only taking 7.5% of the projected cost.
Conclusion Our various skills and experience in creating atmospheric spaces are showcased in this design proposal. Taking the underused space and transforming it into an atmosphere of relaxation and serenity creates both a destination spot for the business realm as well as increased business for the retail spaces in the surrounding area. You dare, we dream, we do.
