 Time in _______ --- knew this work for weather and flight information, just never thought about it working for time. What a TIME saver  Books – type in the name of a book you want to read that is in the public domain and click on Books in the left side bar. Great for kids doing summer reading assignments.  Search the Web in all Languages - When you're searching, click "More search tools" on the left panel of your results page, then select "Translated foreign pages." The feature will choose the best language in which to search and deliver results translated back in English. Google

 If you are having problems with your tool bar being unresponsive try the following before uninstalling and reinstalling the tool bar.  Check for updates – Is your Internet Explorer or Firefox up to date?  Clear your browsing history  Disable add-ons - do this one at a time to see if a particular add-on is causing the problem.  If this all fails, uninstall and reinstall your Google toolbar Google Tool Bar

 Haiku has created a Library where teachers can share information across the domain.  Teachers can search the library for pages, content, tools, anything that can be posted on a page.  To search the library, teachers click on the library option under the Home tab.  The library is searchable by content, subject, or grade level  Reversely, teachers can add to the library through the share function on their Manage Page drop-down Haiku Library

 Haiku supports the following browsers:  If your Haiku LMS class is visible to the public, people can view your page using just about any modern browser.  However, for logged in users (e.g. Teachers, Students & Parents) to use the more advanced feature, such as Assessments, Discussions, and the Dropbox, the browser requirements are more strict. This allows us to provide you with great functionality and reduce the amount of time you spend maintaining content.  Currently supported browsers for advanced features:  Internet Explorer 8.0 through 9.0*  Mozilla Firefox  Google Chrome 1.0+  Safari 4.0+  *We will be retiring support for IE7 starting July 1, 2010 Haiku Not functioning on your browser?

 Can I access Haiku from my phone or other mobile device? Alex Dugger posted this on  Q. Can I access Haiku from my phone or other mobile device?  A. Yes you can, but because Haiku makes use of advanced web technologies to provide its many features you may experience errors or missing functionality. Generally, mobile devices will allow you to view Haiku content, but you will likely encounter trouble with content creation.  Editing Text (e.g. Class Content, Discussions, Assessments)  Mobile browsers have trouble recognizing the text area in Haiku's advanced WYSIWYG text editor. This will prevent you from entering text in many parts of Haiku.  Embed the Web - Many, but not all, of the Embed the Web widgets available use Flash to deliver rich content your Haiku site. Currently Flash is not supported by any of the major mobile browsers.  Drag and Drop (Reorganizing Pages & Content Blocks)  Because the touch interface of many mobile devices is used for scrolling, there is no way to interact with any of the drag and drop features within Haiku.  Uploading FIles  Most mobile devices restrict access to their file system, so you will likely encounter an error if you try to upload a file to Haiku.
