 J.K.Rowling is one of the most famous writers in the world and is best known for her book series Harry Potter. J.K.Rowling is rumoured to be richer than the Queen. Her series of Harry Potter books has been hugely successful.

 J.K.Rowling was born on 31 July Her father Peter Rowling was an aircraft engineer for Rolls Royce, her mother was a house-wife.  J.K.Rowling had one sister Dianne. She used to write fantasy stories for her and read them out.

 Harry Potter was J.K.Rowling’s most successful book series. It is probably one of the most successful series in the world. Its a 7 book series and has a huge fan base. Harry Potter is a book about a boy who goes to a school for magic, his nemesis is Voldemort the man who killed Harry’s parents.

 The Harry Potter Films were very successful and famous. Harry is played by Daniel Radcliffe. Hermione is Emma Watson and Ron is Rupert Grint. Some other very famous actors in it are Maggie Smith, John Cleese and David Tennant. All of the books have been made into movies but the last one is split into two parts. J.K.Rowling unlike many other authors was happy with the cast of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. She also had a judgement in the casting as well.

 J.K.Rowling is richer than the Queen.  J.K.Rowling used to work as an English teacher in Portugal.  J.K.Rowling wrote her first book rabbit when she was six.  J.K.Rowling thought of the idea for Harry Potter on the train ride home from work.  In 2004 J.K.Rowling became the first author billionaire.
