 Born on July28th,1866, in London  Her occupation was to write and illustrate books.  She was educated at home by a governess.  Died on Dec.22 nd,1942, in sawrey.

 She is best known for her children's books which include The Tale Peter Rabbit, The Tale of Benjamin Bunny, and The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin.

AAs a child she had no playmates her own age. SShe was rejected from a school because she was a girl. TThen when she was engaged her fiancé’ suddenly died.

 She had a rabbit named Peter Piper, and a Belgian hare that she brought with her every time she went somewhere and he even had a leash!  As a teen Beatrix kept a journal from the age She wrote in it every day with a code she made up herself! It wasn’t until 15 years after her death that the code was finally deciphered.
