 30% increase in number of vehicles since 2005  13% of harmful pollutants in the air  Dubai has more vehicles in the country then New York, London, and Singapore

 1,021,880 vehicle in Dubai  82.34% of Dubai’s cars are powered by gasoline  Gasoline cars let out 19,221,893 kg of CO2 per day

 Dubai has over 10,000 entering cars that pollute the city  Dubai Municipality tries to reduce emission  Carbon dioxide, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and hydro carbons come from the cars in Dubai

 There are 21,852 gasoline trucks that contributes to the pollution in Dubai  Pollution in Dubai also comes from 75,231 diesel cars in the city

 Dubai wants to monitor air pollution  14 air monitoring stations were added recently

 Air pollution is getting worse  82% of pollution comes from emissions

 Dubai is trying to encourage the people to take public transportation to help the environment  Dubai is going to make a bus called a Superbus that will help the environment  The bus is 15 meters in length  Each side of the Superbus has eight doors  It is planning to have a section of the road dedicated to the bus
