Class of 2013 Senior Portrait Opportunities & Information
What? Senior Portraits by Lifetouch Photography (Called “Prestige Portraits”) are formal portraits for the school yearbook Each member of the 2013 graduating class is strongly encouraged to get pictures taken for inclusion in the yearbook Students are encouraged to pose for more photos during the session as well as purchase pictures from their session Each session includes the following: Yearbook pose (attired provided by Lifetouch) Cap & gown photo (attire provided by Lifetouch) Casual poses (attire provided by student; “props” encouraged) Number of casual poses available depends on students’ choice of session Bronze Session: 4 head & shoulder yearbook poses, 3 casual poses in 1 outfit, 3 cap & gown poses Silver Session: pose extended portrait sitting including head & should creative yearbook poses, cap & gown styles, and black & white poses. PLUS up to 2 of favorite casual outfits. Gold Session: pose extended portrait sitting including head & shoulder yearbook poses, upgraded cap & gown styles, black & white poses, up to 3 of your favorite casual outfits! Platinum Session: pose extended portrait sitting including head & shoulder creative yearbook poses, cap & gown styles, black & white poses, up to 4 casual outfits!

Deadline Senior portraits must be taken by October 15, Please note that the last opportunity at school is September 26, 2012.
FAQ’s What do I need to bring to my appointment? Sitting fee ($0, $10, $20, or $30 depending on session.) Bronze Session ($0): 4 head & shoulder yearbook poses, 3 casual poses in 1 outfit, 3 cap & gown poses Silver Session($10): pose extended portrait sitting including head & should creative yearbook poses, cap & gown styles, and black & white poses. PLUS up to 2 of favorite casual outfits. Gold Session ($20): pose extended portrait sitting including head & shoulder yearbook poses, upgraded cap & gown styles, black & white poses, up to 3 of your favorite casual outfits! Platinum Session ($30): pose extended portrait sitting including head & shoulder creative yearbook poses, cap & gown styles, black & white poses, up to 4 casual outfits! Casual outfit(s). Each session allows for different numbers of casual poses. Bring the outfit(s) that YOU want. Any props. Some students bring footballs, basketballs, instruments, etc. for their casual poses. Can friends or family join in? Yes. Friends and family can be included in casual portraits. Do I have to purchase portraits? No! No purchase is required, and with the Bronze session (and no sitting fee), the process can be FREE! We do encourage all graduating seniors to get their pictures taken regardless of purchase commitment so the entire class is represented in the yearbook
FAQ’s (cont’d) Help! I need to cancel or re-schedule my appointment! What do I do? Contact Jennifer Abernethy. You can do either through her. If you do not show up to an appointment, you will be automatically scheduled for the next “round” of opportunities. When do I receive the proofs from the session? Portrait proofs are delivered to your home about two weeks after your session. How do I order photos? Information on pricing as well as how to order will be enclosed with your proofs. What if I am displeased with the photos? Retakes are always an option! Ask Ms. Abernethy to schedule re-takes for you or call Lifetouch at to make an appointment in Wilmington (if after September 26,
FAQ’s (cont’d) I know there are opportunities at AHS, but what are my other options? Lifetouch owns Foschi Studios in Wilmington, DE. Call to make an appointment there. (Make sure your appointment is before October 15, 2012 to ensure inclusion in the yearbook.) Which picture goes in the yearbook? A formal photograph from your session (drapes for ladies, tuxedoes for gentlemen) will be your senior yearbook photo. You will be given directions to choose your photo when you receive your proofs. Otherwise, the yearbook advisor will seek you out and ask you to choose. (Only photo options that make the deadline are guaranteed to be options for the yearbook.)
