About the Faculty The Faculty of Philosophy was founded in With the Faculty of Agriculture, it is one of the oldest faculties of the University of Novi Sad. There are 330 full-time professors and teaching associates, with 95 employed as non-teaching staff.

1st December, Faculty Anniversary On 1st December 2009 the Faculty celebrated its 55th anniversary by organising the Fifth International Interdisciplinary Symposium Encounter of Cultures which brought together around 200 scholars in the Humanities and Social Sciences for a day of intellectual debate, cultural experience and networking.

Departmental Libraries There are 14 departmental libraries within the Faculty. A departmental library is an organizational unit of a department which holds specialized books and periodicals used by students, professors and associates.
