Multiple Choice Which expression represents the perimeter, in centimeters, of the triangle? A √5 B √20 C √4 D √4

Multiple Choice The radius of a spherical soccer ball is 5 inches. Which measurement is closest to the volume of the soccer ball? A.125 cubic inches B.393 cubic inches C.524 cubic inches D.1,571 cubic inches

Multiple Choice A traffic sign is the shape of a quadrilateral. It has four congruent sides and no right angles. Which statement must be true? A.The sign is a square. B.The sign is a rhombus. C.The sign is a rectangle. D.The sign is a trapezoid.

Multiple Choice Before going on vacation, Jamie has to feed her dog, water her plants, call her aunt, and pack. In how many different orders can Jamie do these four activities? A.4 B.16 C.24 D.256

Constructed Response Mr. young challenged his class to draw a quadrilateral with exactly 3 right angles. Explain why such a shape is impossible to draw. The shape is impossible to draw. In a quadrilateral, the sum of all four angle measurement is always 360 degrees. If three of the angles are right angles, then these three angles add up to 270 degrees. The fourth angle would have to be 90 degrees because 360 – 270 = 90. This means there can’t be exactly 3 right angles.
