Health & Wellbeing Strategy Wellbeing - “creating an environment to promote a state of contentment, which allows an employee to flourish and achieve their full potential for the benefit of themselves and their organisation.” Aims & Objectives The objectives of the Employee Health and Wellbeing programme are to: Sustain employee performance through improvements in personal health and wellbeing; Differentiate WHBC as an ‘employer of choice’ and a caring organisation, thereby improving recruitment and retention; Promote a wellbeing culture by increasing employee engagement and producing a range of positive benefits for employees; Support a reduction in sickness absence and the associated costs of ill-health.
