Bully Report Procedure Upon receiving a report of a potential bullying behavior or code of conduct violation an investigation occurs Staff will….. Talk to student in private Affirm students feelings…. “You did the right thing by Telling an adult.” “I’m glad I can help you with this.” Ask questions about what happened……Has it happened before? Recognize that the discussion might be difficult for the student Upon receiving a report of a potential bullying behavior or code of conduct violation an investigation occurs Staff will….. Bully Procedure A bullying behavior is reported An investigation occurs Determination is made if it is an act of bullying or violation of code of conduct. If bullying is determined Bullying Incident Report is placed in student’s cum folder Parents of bully and victims are notified Confidentiality is maintained Appropriate consequences occur in accordance with school policy and code of conduct If determined a violation of the code of conduct it is documented, parents are notified and appropriate consequences are given.
