Rosa Parks One a ordinary day, Rosa Parks was riding the Montgomery City bus home. Rosa sat in the middle of the bus on her ride home, when the bus was filled the driver asked all the 4 blacks to move to the back to the bus. Rosa refused to move so for that, she got arrested. Rosa is one of our great heroes cause fought for freedom.

Harriet Tubman Harriet Tubman was a runaway slave in Maryland. She is known as the “Moses of her people”. Harriet led hundreds of slaves to freedom under the Underground Railroad. I believe she is a hero for sending a hundred slaves free from being a slave.
