Research Question/Background Information O State the topic that you are researching in the form of a question O Include information to help the audience understand your topic. Ex. definition, statistics, etc.
Thesis Statement O State your thesis. This is the side that you are arguing in your presentation.
Pros O You will create THREE (3) slides with one pro argument on each slide.
Cons O You will create THREE (3) slides with one con argument on each slide.
Connection to The Giver O You will provide one quote or summary that connects your topic to an example of its existence in The Giver. O There may not be an explicit (fully and clearly expressed or demonstrated, dictionary.com) example in the book. This is where you will need to analyze!
Conclusion O You will need to provide a conclusion to your argument. O Similar to closing arguments in a court case.
