The Search for Tutankhamon 1. Howard Carter was the English archaeologist who found Tut’s tomb. 2. Tut ruled Egypt for 9 years. 3. Lord Carnarvon provided the money so that Tut’s tomb could be found. 4. A white step in the desert was the first clue that led to the tomb. 5. Tut’s tomb was located in the Valley of the Kings. 6. Grave robbers had been in Tut’s tomb because artifacts had been tossed around.

Mummy Facts 1. They mummified pets and other animals that were important to the gods. 2. Shabtis were little dolls that were put in the tombs to do the farm work in the after life.
