Intention and objectives of PhD project To develop a suggestion for a common European standard for future energy and CO 2 -neutral Active Houses. Developing knowledge about the holistic approach to integrating fresh air, plenty of daylight and healthy indoor climate into a sustainable way of living. Developing a method for integrating quantitative and qualitative parameters in developing buildings. 10. maj 2015 #5
Research Hypothesis Besides being energy neutral it is of great importance to human beings that their home is adapted into the surrounding environment and possess a high level of comfort, where daylight and fresh air are important parameters. 10. maj 2015 #6 Through development of a scientific method buildings can be defined and measured in accordance with both quantitative and qualitative values within the parameters Energy, Indoor Climate and Environment. By taking a holistic approach to future buildings on both quantitative and qualitative levels better buildings are created.
