The Purpose of the diploma research is to examine the competitive environment of the enterprise and suggest activities to increase the competitiveness of the company

The Object of the investigation is the enterprise “REAGENT” The Subject of the investigation is the competitive environment of the enterprise “REAGENT”

TD "REAGENT“- a company specializing in the supply of chemical products for various industries and agriculture.

The mission of the enterprise TD "REAGENT" - to be a reliable supplier of industrial chemicals in the Ukrainian market.

TD “REAGENT” offers:  Chemical products and reagents;  Indicators, reagents and preparations for analytical purposes and pharmacopoeia concentrates and supplements for chemical processing and surface preparation of metals;  chemical ware in assortment;  laboratory equipment.

Buyers of chemicals and reagents are both final consumers and wholesalers. Today the company has a permanent relationship with more than 8,000 customers across the country, most of which operate in the following areas:  Metallurgical Industry;  Chemical Industry;  The pharmaceutical industry;  Food Industry;  Veterinary Medicine;  and so on.

The suppliers of chemical raw materials in Ukrainian Market

Characteristics of the main competitor: "Macrokhim" started its activity in March 1996 under the name TD “Reagent" supply of chemicals and raw materials. In 2005 there was a division, and the company "Macrokhim" became independent of TD “Reagent"

"MAKROHIM" is the a serious threat to TD "REAGENT". This fact is a major problem of the company. We proposed measures to strengthen the competitive advantages of TD "REAGENT" with strategic decision making

The proposed activities are: 1. creating marketing service who is not currently in the company 2. increase advertising strategy 3. establishing new relationships with different suppliers of chemical raw materials from other countries
