2015 MBYLL Process and Rules OVERVIEW 6 Regions 7,000 Spring Games Jimmy Tighe Assigner OFFICIAL REGISTRATION MUST be US Lacrosse Member (as Official) MUST register up on MBYLL Web site Take MBYLL Rules Quiz GAME ACCEPTANCE MUST Accept game in Arbiter within 5 days of game (minimum) MUST Confirm Game Details (Field Location and Times) at least 3 days in advance of Game

2015 MBYLL Process and Rules GAME DAY PROCESS Pre-game – Arrive 15 minutes before game (minimum) – Meet with Coaches before game Coaches Certification – Each Classic Team MUST have 1 Certified Coach on Sideline (minimum) – Each Select Team MUST have ALL Coaches on the Sideline Certified Review Age Level and Age Appropriate Rules Review Emphasis (Safety Equipment, Big Hits, Hits to Head, Uncontrolled/One-Handed Swing of Stick) – Conduct a Starting Team Line up prior to start of the game at mid field

2015 MBYLL Process and Rules RULES Game Length (U11-U15): Games are 4 10 minute stop quarters. 15 minute running quarters can be used “if” both Coaches agree. Contact (U13-15): Controlled and Appropriate Body Checks within 3 yards allowed (U9-U11): NO CHECKING ALLOWED Slashing Slashing is an uncontrolled swing of a stick. ALL One-Hand stick checks will be considered slashing Take-Out Checks/Defensive Player Check Take out Checks, Checks on Defensive Player, Hits to the Head will all result in a 2 or 3 minutes locked in Personal Foul up to and including Ejection Face-Off Option Team down by 6+ goals has the option of receiving the ball after a goal instead of Face-Off at their option

2015 MBYLL Process and Rules 12+ Goal Lead After 12+ goal lead game clock shall be a running clock. Leading Coach shall make discrete adjustments to play of game by his team. U15 ONLY – 2 Official – 20 seconds to clear midfield; 10 second to Box (Zone 4) – Stalling rule for leading team in last 2 minutes of Game – Substitutions on Sideline Out of Bounds – 4 Long Poles U13 ONLY – 2 Official (recommended) – 20 seconds to clear midfield; 10 second to Box (Zone 4) – Stalling rule for leading team in last 2 minutes of Game – Substitutions on Sideline Out of Bounds – 4 60 inch Defense Sticks (Tiger Poles)
