Lior Almagor © Monteverde Resplendent Quetzal - Pharomachrus mocinno Resplendent Quetzal is a bird in the Trogon family, relatively rare, and is well known for its magnificent colorful plumage. Resplendent Quetzal is the National bird of Guatemala. I needed about 250 Camera clicks in the shady rain-forest to get a few good pictures of the bird.
