Who I am Please press key Klaus Westerteicher 15 years Multiplex ->1969 – 1984 8 years repair and after sales service, later in addition productmanagment and developmwnt for radios and electronics 1984 – 1990 Self employed with a video studio and printing materials aso. Customers Graupner/MPX/robbe/Futaba 1987 –1993, starting the business with Futaba in FEG Düsseldorf, responsible for the robbe Futaba F series (FC-28, FC-18, FC-16, FC15, F-14, F-14 nautic. This time includs 3 years robbe Modellsport 1990 – 1993 Product marketing for all products, development, product management, after sales service, RC-Futaba In this time I worked with Futaba people like Mr. Kanetsuna, Mr. Inokoshi, Mr. Yoneyama, met Mr. Hosoya. Since then I got injected the Futaba spirit and even I had my own RC electronics, as a transmitter I always am using Futaba. Since 1994 running ACTeurope In that time I have designed, produced and sold my electronic products and airplanes to Conrad, Hobbico, Avio Tiger, Ripmax, Kyosho Deutschland, to all dealers and directly to endusers. The company grew up to 12 employees and € 2,5Mio turnover in 2003, then I slowly reduced to more efficiency. I am an active model pilot since 1960, flying all what can fly, radio controlled

Who I am ACT products, first issued to the RC market from ACT, produced in Germany 1994: First governor for combustine helicopters with RPM measurement and pitch- and engine curve (sold also to K&S + JR) 1995: Very small PPM receivers full range, with front connectors 1996: First german producer of piezo-gyros (Futaba came one year later) 1997: First airplane gyro with 2 servo outputs and specialised airplane and glider software. 1998: First 3 axis gyro 1999: First PLL-synthesizer-RX (SmartScan) with Fail Safe und TSR (transmitter signal recogition) 1999: ME 163, first foam RC model, produced in foam tools, RC controlled 1999: First receiver with high current connection (DSQ 12) 2001: Diversity technology for FM receivers, combining 2 receivers to one True Diversity RX system 2002: Programmable RX, all servo adjustments, alignments, delay, mixers in the receiver, using Palm via Infrared or PC 2002: Data analyses in RX, using Palm via infrared or PC 2002: First RC receiver with DDS synthesizer 2003: First receiver with PPM, PCM 1024 (Futaba) and PCM 24 (Graupner/JR) 2006: 7,5V Servos, usable with 2 lipo cells 2006: First approved 2-frequency TX system in 35 Mhz PPM/PCM 2007: First Android App in the modeling, using Blue Tooth 2008: First 3D-2,4GHz system with true diversity in RX and TX with 2 antenna at TX and RX, sold 2009 to MPX (M-Link) and TT.

Who I am In my business live I had to learn a lot: I had to learn that my products were very often to genious and to early in the market. Customers didn`t believe that new ideas are good if they come from a small company. Only a market dominatiing company can set new standards. Even technical oriented I had to learn that the best products don`t help if there is no sales organisiation But I could learn so many things like designing new electronics, PCBs, SMD production. And of course how to market it. And I could learn what it means to be responsible for people, to lead people. Today, all this is my experience I was always a designer, I liked to make products real, I never was an administrator
