1. 1 st & A30. Just before the play is getting ready to be snapped. B89 enters the field to make the defense have 12 players when the ball is snapped. QB A12 throws a complete forward pass to A80 who is tackled at the A st & A30. After breaking from the Huddle and as the team settles into formation, A80 goes in motion before the rest of the team get set. The other 10 players do become set and A80 is still in motion at the time of the snap. The ball is handed off to A23 who is tackled at the A st & A30. After breaking from the Huddle and as the team settles into formation, A80 goes in motion before the rest of the team get set. The other 10 players do become set and A80 is still in motion at the time of the snap The ball is handed off to A23 who fumbles the ball and B80 recovers and runs to the A10.

Rule Meetings 4. 4 th & A30. After the ready for play whistle by the referee- --- :15 seconds to go in the 2 nd Quarter and the clock running. A80 commits a false start…Game Clock is stopped 5 yards is marked off. After penalty administration the Referee blows ready for play whistle and the game clock runs down to : st & A30. A23 takes a hand off and runs to the A38 where he fumbles. The loose ball rolls forward and goes out of bounds at the A st & A30. QB A4 runs around the right side and throws a forward pass from the A31. The pass is thrown to A80 who while trying to catch the pass is hit well before the ball reached A80 by B44.

Mentor Program Level 4’s – Are not able to work Varsity games. It is strongly recommended that a 4 attend several varsity contests, attend pre-game, halftime discussions and post game discussions (with the Varsity Crew Chiefs’ permission). In order to move up to a level 3, the level 4 must participate in the Mentor Program and complete the following minimums: Attend the KO Meeting Score 80% or higher on the test Receive a minimum of 5 evaluations 3.00 average on evaluations received Attend 6 rules classes at the AIA 3’s/4’s meetings

What equipment do I need to officiate football? A typical cost for all equipment to start out is around $175. For Varsity games: Black pants or White Knickers (w/ stripe socks) are acceptable by the AIA. A position placket will also be on your shirt. For Non-Varsity games: Black short will be worn. No position placket is required. For All AIA games: Shirts will need an AIA and Victory with Honor logos.
