The program’s primary focus is to serve high school students in special education who are interested in obtaining an entry-level job after high school. *Post-secondary vocational training may be considered if approved by the DOR Counselor. The TPP staff works closely with the DOR Counselor to provide continuous support to students (after eligibility) to make sure the employment goals are achieved. The Transition Partnership Program (TPP) is a partnership program with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and the Fremont, Newark, and New Haven Unified School Districts.

WorkAbility Program WorkAbility provides pre–employment skills training for high school students in special education. It is designed to promote career awareness and preparation while students are completing their high school requirements. WorkAbility can assist students with decisions regarding career goals and preparation for the world of work, as well as, provide ongoing support and guidance. WorkAbility is funded by the California State Department of Education, Special Education Division.
