Presentation transcript:

 Keep hands and feet to yourself.

 Killer statements are statements that make people feel bad. They are used to insult or put someone down.  Examples: › Stupid › That was a lame question. › What were you thinking? › You can’t draw, let me do it. › All the things on your bad list.

 We all want to feel safe and comfortable while at school. It takes every students effort to make that possible. If we all say kind things to one another we will all be a little bit happier! If you hear another student say a killer statement please politely let them know that they just used a killer statement and that they make people feel bad. If I hear you use a killer statement you will receive a Team All Star detention and you will call home and tell your parents exactly what you said.

 I will not use killer statements in Mrs. Daggett’s classroom

 Step 1: Pick out a piece of construction paper and trace your shoe on the paper.  Step 2: Cut out the outline of your shoe and write 5-10 positive (good) statements neatly on your paper shoe.  Step 3: Draw 2 or more happy pictures on your paper shoe.  Step 4: Write a killer statement on the big poster then glue your paper shoe over your Killer statement.  Step 5: Clean up!
