Terms to Know Time Management: involves planning your use of time so that you can get the most out of the time you have. Prioritize: To arrange or deal with in order of importance Procrastination: To put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness Obligations: A social, legal, or moral requirement, such as a duty, contract, or promise that compels one to follow or avoid a particular course of action. Work Simplification: Finding the easiest and quickest way to do each job well

Becoming an Effective Time Manager Set goals for yourself Make a daily “To DO” list Use a monthly calendar to help schedule your time Group together activities that can successfully be done at once Make use of all the time you have, even short segments Prevent interruptions whenever possible
