Restaurant Probleme mit Etikette Sie ist in einem schönen Restaurant und weiß nicht, welche Gäbel soll sie benutzen. OH, NEIN! Welche Gäbel? Es gibt zu viele! AAGGGHHHH!

Place Settings Start from the outside & work your way in.

Napkin Placement Do… Place your napkin on your lap prior to eating. Do not… Tuck your napkin in your shirt.

Hand Placement Do… Place your hands (not elbows) on the table. Don’t… Place your hands in your lap & make others wonder what you are doing.

Buttering Bread/ Rolls Do… Butter individual bites of your bread. Don’t… Butter your bread all at once & cram it into your mouth.

Using Silverware Do… Cut your meat one bite at a time using your silverware as shown below.. Don’t… Cut meat with a fork or Cut up your meat, then switch your fork to your other hand.

Silverware Placement Do… Place silverware appropriately on the plate. Don’t… Place silverware helter skelter wherever you want.

Etikette ins Restaurant Zusammenfassung Do… 1.Place the napkin in your lap. 2.Keep both hands on the table. 3.Start with the outside fork & work your way in. 4.Eat your bread a little piece at a time (buttering it as you go). 5.Eat with your fork in the left hand & knife in the right (if you are right- handed). 6.Cut one piece at a time & eat. 7.Place your silverware on the plate when used. 8.Let a dropped piece of silverware remain on the floor & ask for another. 9.Place utensils parallel on the plate if finished or cross them if you are not. Do not… 1.Wear your napkin around your neck / tucked in or leave it on the table when eating. 2.Put your hands in your lap or text while at the table. 3.Use any utensil you want. 4.Cut your bread in half, slater it with butter & stuff it in your mouth. 5.Cut your meat or other foods with a fork. 6.Cut everything all at once, put you knife down & switch your fork to your dominant hand. 7.Place a used fork/ knife/ spoon back on the table after it has been used. 8.Try to pick up a dropped eating utensil & place it back on the table. 9.Pile your silverware helter skelter on the plates, table, usw.
