APPRENTICE After graduating fro college, I had the opportunity to apprentice downtown with a prestigious law firm. a person who is learning a job from an older, more experience person a person who is learning a job from another person who just graduated from college a person who is learning a job from an older, more experience person

NIB The nib of the writing utensil became dull after several hours of writing. a part of a baby bottle The tip of an ink pen

CONSOLATION The group worked so hard to win the contest and received a consolation prized instead. something that makes a disappointed person feel better a prize you win when you come in first place something that makes a disappointed person feel better

TIMIDLY The new student slowly and timidly came into the classroom. happily nervously
