WHAT IS DFYIT? “DFYIT” (Drug Free Youth in Town) is a free, school-based, voluntary, anti-drug Club for high school teens. In DFYIT, teens thrive, drug free, in a Club run by teens, for teens.

The Goal? Provide a positive peer network that supports healthy choices and a drug-free lifestyle.

How Does it Work? School personnel and city staff work with teen leaders (Club officers) on local high school campuses to develop, coordinate, and supervise on-campus events, community service projects and educational workshops that promote a drug free lifestyle. On campus Club meetings are held regularly to discuss drug-related issues and to highlight local supportive services.

Who Can Join? Membership is not only voluntary but it is FREE to any student attending a school where there is a DFYIT chapter. – Member Requirements Attend meeting regularly Submit to random drug testing Participate in community service activities – Member Benefits Drug Free Peers/Environment Community Service Hours Attend District/School Events Cool T-shirts!
