To locate bills by keyword Go to At the bottom of the left-hand navigation bar, click on State Capitol Click on Bills Click on “Bill Text by Keyword” In the main search box, enter the keyword that you wish to search for, as well as any other criteria (state, date, etc.) Click on “Search”

To locate bills by number Go to In the left-hand navigation bar, click on State Capitol Click on Bills Click on “Bill text by Bill Number” In the main search box, enter the bill number, starting with the location of the introduction (i.e., House = HB, Senate = SB) followed by the number Click on “Search”

To locate statutes by keyword Go to In the left-hand navigation bar, click on State Capitol Click on Statutes Click on “Search Statutes by Keyword” In the main search box, enter the keyword that you wish to search for Click on “Search”

To locate statutes by number Go to In the left-hand navigation bar, click on State Capitol Click on Statutes Click on “Search Statutes by Citation” In the main search box, enter the statute number Click on “Search”

Results list Your results will be presented to you in a list  You can sort the list by: State Relevance Date
