Objectives Fusion at IAEA To strengthen cooperation and increased awareness amongst institutions and researchers of worldwide fusion energy endeavors Sub-Programme 1.4.4: Nuclear Fusion Research (Physics Section) Objective: To strengthen international cooperation and coordinate scientific and technology development activities on fusion among institutions and/or researchers, and enhance developing Member States involvement with leading fusion laboratories/initiatives Project 1.4.1.4: Atomic and Molecular Data for Fusion Experiments Objective: To increase capabilities of Member States to undertake fusion plasma modelling and quantify plasma-materials interactions through improved atomic and molecular databases Project 1.4.1.6: Nuclear data for emerging issues and advanced nuclear facilities (Includes a project on the "Fusion-Evaluated Nuclear Data Library version 3 (FENDL-3)")

Nuclear Data Section - Fusion Activities Maintain the IAEA International Reactor Dosimetry File (to characterize neutron spectrum and flux for IFMIF and other facilities 0-40 MeV) Fusion Evaluated Nuclear Data Library version 3 (FENDL-3). Extends FENDL-2.1 toward higher energies, with inclusion of incident charged particles and covariance data Maintain and develop bibliographical (AMBDAS) and numerical (ALADDIN) databases for atomic and molecular properties NDS - Fusion Activities: Key US Partners: NIST (spectroscopy and nuclear standards), Oak Ridge CFADC (Controlled Fusion Atomic Data Center), Brookhaven (Nuclear Data Center)

Nuclear Fusion Journal IAEA provides the forum, it owns and runs the journal. Gives assurance of impartiality and excellence of peer review Reports on status to IFRC Editorial Board drive direction.
