You will depart from your school late in the evening and drive overnight to Washington, DC. You will stop for breakfast en-route at Old Country Buffet in Woodbridge, VA. Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide. Arlington National Cemetery - You will see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Kennedy Gravesites, the Changing of the Guard and the Challenger Memorial. Visit to the Iwo Jima Memorial Visit to the White House – Picture stop in Lafayette Park for photos outside of the White House. Lunch at National Place You’ll drive down Embassy Row and pass by the National Cathedral Visit to the National Zoo to see the pandas and other animals. Dinner at Georgetown University Dining Hall Hotel Check-In

You will have breakfast at the hotel and then you will board the bus. Self guided tour at the National Archives - This is where you will see many federal documents including the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Crime Museum - You'll learn about infamous criminals throughout history and the resulting punishments resulting as a consequence of their crimes. This museum includes a crime lab and the filming studios for America's Most Wanted. Free time to explore the Smithsonian Museums of your choice - The National Museum of the American Indian, the Museum of Natural History, the Museum of American History and the American Art Museum. You will have lunch in the Natural History Museum cafeteria. Visit to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum Visit to Ford’s Theatre and Petersen House – This is where Abraham Lincoln was shot and later passed away. Visit to the Holocaust Museum – You will get to see the Daniel’s Story Exhibit. This exhibit presents the history of the Holocaust in ways that children can understand. Visit to the Franklin D Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson and the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorials Dinner at Pentagon City Mall Visit to the 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon and Air Force Memorial Return to hotel

You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will load your bags on the bus and begin your final day of touring. Visit the Vietnam, Lincoln, Korean and WWII Memorials U.S. Capitol Building - You will see the visitors center and exhibits about the legislative branch of our government. You will then see a short film about the Capitol before taking a guided tour into the rotunda. You will have lunch in the cafeteria at the visitors center. Library of Congress - You will have some time to admire the architecture and peek into the main reading room. Supreme Court - You will hear a lecture about the judicial system (if available). Dinner/DJ Dance Cruise on the Potomac River You will then board the bus and depart for your overnight drive home.
