INGOA RESOLUTIONS PROCESS Iowa Membership reviews Standing Resolutions prior to Annual Business Meeting Membership submits changes/additions/omissions to Standing Resolutions for consideration at Annual Business Meeting, using the prescribed NGAUS form and format Resolutions must be adopted at Annual State Conference (Emergency Resolutions will be considered ONLY if there is a programmatic change at the service level; not simply because they were late submittals) INGOA Resolutions Team submit adopted Resolutions to NGAUS after the Business Meeting Reviewed by stakeholders—NGB, NGAUS Task Forces All states vote on Resolution changes at the NGAUS Conference Resolutions published by NGAUS & become Legislative Priorities for the next year Worked on Capitol Hill by INGOA Legislative Team & NGAUS. Also, membership should use C APWIZ to stay engaged on priorities.
