When looking at a thumbnail of any camera, it’s hard to say what benefit higher resolution gives the end-user More resolution gives you two benefits: – Preserve resolution but increase Field-of-View (FoV) – Preserve FoV but increase resolution What you use the extra resolution for depends on the application and end-user needs.
