Ted Turner  Born- November 19, 1983 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA as Robert Edward Turner III  Attended Brown University, but left before graduation. He was expelled his junior year for smuggling a coed into his room.  Founder/owner of CNN, WTBS, TNT, and other media properties.  largest private landowner in the United States with about 1.75 million acres in New Mexico, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska. His ranch empire, based in Montana, raises bison.

Turner Foundation  Ted Turner has placed much of his 2 million acres of land under conservation easements to prevent future development. His Turner Endangered Species Fund has provided protection for a wide range of imperiled species, from bison and bighorn sheep to whooping cranes and wolves, supporting wildlife research around the globe.  This is important because he can fund and get people to help with the foundation which will make a change.

Turner Contributions  Turner has found a way to save our future, purify our air/water, and salvage our ecosystem.  His contributions have taught us a great deal about our environment
