Ken YoussefiProduct Design I, SJSU 1 Design three chess sets. The pieces could be solid or hollow. Only extrusion can be used to manufacture the pieces. The extruded section could be cut at any length or angle. Do not design any pieces requiring a turning operation. The objective is to design a chess set that is inexpensive, elegant, artful and unique. The cost is influenced by the number of extrusions, the fewer the number of extrusions the lower the cost. The cost is also effected by the number of operations (cut) performed to change shape. Three Chess Sets Traditional pieces, turning operation
