What is a Planned Visit? Delivery system redesign and clinical information systems: planned visits + reminders A Cochrane Review looked at trials comparing a control group with patients who had planned follow-up visits and whose physicians had reminder prompts. 5 trials were found: the intervention group had significantly lower HbA1c in all 5 trials.
