Team Members Navigate Orlando Health Process Improvement  Process improvements are the techniques used in improving the operations of a company or an organization  Seeking to learn the causes of a negative result and setting a process in place to correct the problem

Why Team Member Involvement?  Team members know the job best  Improve efficiency and quality of care  Build confidence and initiate communication

Process Improvement A process improvement plan includes steps and decisions that are needed to accomplish a goal.  Establish the overall objective; reason for improvement  Identify the root cause of the failure  Create a solution/plan  Rapid cycle test; request feedback  Implementation of PI

Process Improvement Steps- How it works!  A department PI committee is established, consisting of team members and a facilitator.  Team Members submit suggestions  Committee Members review all suggestions  Determination made for Dept. implementation or referral to Corp.

Notification to Team Members  Team members are notified regarding their process improvement suggestion  Suggestion has been forwarded to the Corporate PI Committee for review

Corporate PI  Department newsletter published reviewing all submissions received  Corporate PI spreadsheet for review
