Our goal is to inspire the service user to greater involvement within the community by having a fun day, exercise and fresh air whilst achieving satisfaction in a job well done.

 Animal Care  Arts & Crafts  Horticulture  Country Crafts – Restoration of Old tables Bird Boxes  Fishing  Clocks  Horse-Care  Equestrian  Computers  Countryside Awareness

 Work experience in animal care: equestrian: horticulture: woodwork:  Skills needed to work on our community projects  Land management  Confidence building  Life skills  Inter-personal skills  Assertiveness  Self awareness  Personal Portfolios  Promoting team work  Structure and routine  Health and safety  Safety awareness of others  Correct use of all tools  Maintaining skills  Physical exercise and fresh air  Friendship and a place of ownership  Having fun

Green Fingers Club Helping the elderly/disabled with weeding their gardens we are also working along with DCC horticulture department. We have planted bulbs at Dorchester Railway Station

 Popp funding £1,800 to help towards setting community allotment area here at Cowden  Innovation funding of £6,000  Gardening for the Disabled £750 funding towards tools for allotment and Green Fingers Club  £200 from local Lions Club  Volunteers over 50 sharing skills with our service users, vegetable boxes, social area

Animal care helps raise self- esteem encourages responsibility and team-work

We grow and produce fruit & vegetables to sell in local shops

Horse care builds self confidence and is good form of physical activity

Countryside crafts teaches independent working skills

 Helping develop independent working skills  Using Permaculture and recycling waste  Contributing to the local community  Keeping individuals healthy & fit  Building friendships and long lasting community connections  Building confidence & Self esteem  Recruiting Volunteers to enhance our work (12 volunteers with different skills)
