The securing of a competitive, market-focused and environmental-fairly keeping agriculture, in the context of the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union, is an important factor for the stability of the rural area. The 11 National Offices for Agriculture (AfL) in Saxony, as lower special authorities, support the agriculture and horticulture enterprises during the conversion of the european agricultural policy considering the regional conditions. The organization of the extensive development of the rural area with efficient enterprises in the agriculture and in the horticulture, including the creation of additional income possibilities for the farmers, is and remains the priority task of the agriculture administration. The demand of the enterprises within the agrarian range for current, technical information is particularly pronounced straight in the times of the necessary reorientation to the competitive position and to the market. The realization of the agrarian promotion and further training by the agrarian administration obtains thus a still larger value.
